Class Descriptions

Beg Mat (Beginning Mat) - This class helps to perfect the basic matwork. Will accommodate 5 students.

Int Mat (Intermediate Mat) - Covers the beginning and intermediate mat exercises. Will accommodate 5 students.

Int/Adv Mat (Intermediate/ Advanced Mat) - A faster paced class that challenges the Intermediate to Advanced student.

Open Mat - This class is open to all students with previous mat experience. Will accommodate 5 students.

Cardio Barre - An intense Pilates based barre class accompanied to music. This class will definitely get your heart rate up.

Fletcher Barre / Towel - A Ron Fletcher Pilates based barre class that focuses on controlled movements.

50+ Mat - This class is designed for the older adult population focusing on fundamental and beginning mat exercises. Will accommodate 5 students.

50+ Ref (50+ Reformer) - A reformer class designed with the older adult population in mind focusing on fundamental and beginning reformer exercises. Will accommodate 5 students.

Beg Ref (Beginning Reformer) - The reformer is the most universal piece of Pilates equipment and in this series you will learn the basic reformer exercises. Will accommodate 5 students.

Beg/Int (Beginning/ Intermediate Reformer) - This class refines the beginning reformer exercises and adds some of the intermediate exercises. Will accommodate 5 students.

Int Ref (Intermediate Reformer) - This class focuses on the intermediate reformer workout. Will accommodate 5 students.

Int/Adv Ref (Intermediate/ Advanced Reformer) - This more advanced workout will take you through some of the tough stuff on the reformer. Will accommodate 5 students.

Beg SB (Beginning Springboard) - This wall mounted piece of equipment is designed to build on matwork exercises. Will accommodate 4 students.

Int SB (Intermediate Springboard) - This class will build on the beginning springboard exercises. Will accommodate 4 students.

Circuit - A combination of various equipment and matwork exercises. Will accommodate 4 students.

Pilates in the Park - bring your mat, a towel and water bottle and join us for a lunch time Pilates mat class in the great outdoors (Prospect Terrace Park)! Weather permitting...we can always move inside the studio!

Cardio Pilates - Get your heart rate jumping! We will utilize the Pilates Reformer Jumpboard and other props to ramp up your Pilates practice!

Walk-I-lates - will apply Pilates principles to walking. Class includes a warm up, walk, upper body work with Fletcher towel, Magic Circle and stretches.

Introduction to Classic Pilates Mat Flow Series - Whether you are brand new to Pilates, or want an in depth refresher to better hone your technique, this series is designed to equip you with a firm Pilates foundation including fundamentals, breath techniques, and how to modify the basic exercises as your strength, endurance, and overall flexibility changes. By the end, you will be more confident and stable on the mat, equipment, both practicing from home or a studio setting anywhere. This series runs as an Intro series for the first four weeks (8 classes), and then wraps up at the week of October 18, by blending into a Basic-Beginner mat flow class.
